GP Strategies™ Performance Readiness Group (formerly RWD Technologies) – Our Background and History
In 2012, the GP Strategies Performance Readiness Solutions (PRS) Group was created to encompass the services formerly provided by the RWD Division (GP Strategies acquired RWD Technologies (RWD) in April 2011). RWD was founded in 1988 on one simple premise: The power of an organization resides in the worthy work of individuals and the collaborative way their work is done.
In the early 1990s, RWD provided training and documentation for Dow Chemical as it implemented the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) multi-module business application, SAP. RWD's substantial success in SAP training, and developing and implementing a highly effective adult learning model for enterprise systems led to numerous large contracts to help with global SAP training and SAP implementations.
Over subsequent years, RWD extended the RWD training services to include Oracle ERP implementation and Oracle ERP training, PeopleSoft implementation and PeopleSoft training, and training and implementation with ERP packages.
As part of these services, RWD developed best-in-class learning solutions, including RWD Info Pak and RWD uPerform software. RWD Info Pak, RWD uPerform software and RWD uPerform training products are used by Fortune 500 companies and half of the Fortune 100. The software products division of RWD is now its own company, Ancile Solutions, Inc., and continues to provide many of the RWD training and learning products.
